We have a booth at Celebrate Wallingford festival, October 3-4. We will offer a golf raffle with tickets sold at one for $5, ten for $20. Sally Tremaine is preparing raffle baskets, one for kids and one for adults. We will offer shirts, hats, and blankets as donation premiums. Committee members signed up for booth staffing.
Our next trail cleanup work party is scheduled for Sunday, October 18 (rain date Sunday, October 25). Cathy is not available that day, so someone needs to pick up coffee and doughnuts.
Cathy has been in touch with Allan Miller to rent his horsedrawn carriage for Holiday on the Trail, Sunday, November 29.
Festival of Trees is on Friday, December 4.
The house at 352 Main Street will be demolished. The Fire Department may use this for training.
We can now receive online donations via Zeffy.com. There is a signup button on our Facebook page, and we will display a QR code at public events.
Signage update: The new map/sign has been installed near the Hall Avenue/Community Lake entrance. It still needs a peaked roof. The kiosk at Fireworks Island needs a safety check. It should be moved next year, when we have the new trail entrance to Yalesville.
The kiosk at Community Lake needs grading and installation of bricks.
